20 posters and 1000 flyers on CCA fiesta day.

anw, the 5 pieces of machinery i need you guys to check on are here:
1) sit up machine
2) push up machine (you lie on you back and puuuush the bar up)
3) abdominal machine (suspend yourself in the air and make your legs perpendicular)
4) the pull bar machine (standing, you have a long bar above you)
5) thigh machine (there's a plate you place your legs on and push)
if you guys dont get it i can go draw and put up here. haha.
if your gym has small weights also, like 5kg kind for one hand, then all the better cause i need those too!
if not we will have to go to clementi stadium and then walk to the gym near the swimming pool.
you MUST bring a towel to the clementi gym and it costs about $1.50.
so if you dont mind paying once every week til school starts, we can go there if we cant find a free gym.

if you're playing for M1 touch, please state either in a post or on the tagboard.
- If you are late, the whole team will do pumping. Pumping, meaning proper push-ups. If at least one person does not do proper push-ups, the team will do the pumping AGAIN. Be a team and count together.
- Late means you must be booted up and ready to train within the 10min grace period. If you are NOT booted up by, for example, 9:10am for 9am training, you are LATE.
- 3 lates on the attendance list = individual pumping
- You will be considered ABSENT if you do not give a valid excuse to ONLY chien chih before training starts.
- 3 absents on the attendance list = individual pumping
- These rules will be implemented as of the next training on the 8th of March 2007
These rules are not implemented to make it seem like touch rugby is like the army, but we honestly do not have enough commitment in the entire team. For us to expect to be respected by the freshees next year, we have to show them that we are strict and dedicated in what we do. If we all make the effort to follow the rules, it becomes a habit and it will no longer seem to be a chore. For all this to happen you have to have the passion to want to win IVP and be CHAMPIONS.
Know and understand what all the training, pt, urgency and discipline is for, and you will build the passion for rugby.
When you have the passion, you'll know what it feels like to grasp glory.

after reading cc's earlier post, i have decided to edit it on my own accord so that it doesn't sound that harsh.
the real deal is this: we're all gonna have to sacrifice time for touchrugby. it's a team cca and i feel it's unfair if a few of us turn up only and the rest bog down the team's rate of improvement - we have to keep revising and revising. it's such a total waste of time.
the discipline that we have, as compared to the outside clubs, is a joke. feeble excuses such as hangovers and little outings aren't gonna be valid anymore.
what we'd all like is attendance and a want to do well in touch. i feel it's not about winning, but more of putting in effort so there's no chance for regrets.
it's just sad seeing poor turnouts during training. so, see ya'l on saturday? (:
let's all work hard together okay? the new batch of year1s coming in in a few months have gotta see us in our best state so that they'd be motivated as well. i sure don't want a repeat of history happening for the coming ivp, do you?

the last gym (furthest from field) has all the weights and you'll be doing them in SETS.
a SET is a series of the weights, like aims are calves x10, upper arms x10, etc.
and that's ONE SET.
then usually you do about 10 to 20 sets.
HAHA.
but i wont torture you girls so fast.

then there's also RUNNING!
you cannot be fit without RUNNING!
and what better way to judge fitness than 2.4 run!

- you're in charge of the CCA board. what you cld put up there can be pictures taken during IVP, random pictures regarding touch rugby and our training dates, time, venue, etc. get it done before sch reopens so that we can be located easily. get help from us if you need, we'll help out.
- Cld you also prepare a farewell party for debbie?

- please find out the date of the CCA fiesta, where we will be setting up our booths etc. we're be doing the booths together with the contact guys.
- you also need to get the stamp from mr. gerald. that stamp permits us to put up flyers of touch rug during a particular time period. but we only need that probably sometime near CCA fiesta. take note of that.
- yas and i want to mass email the newbies concerning the recruitment of members for touch rug. you need to get the pw and the code from mr. gerald. if you need help, let me know.

- we need a poster for the CCA fiesta. cld you get it done before the fiesta? i guess we only need one or two.

- i need 2 designs for competition jerseys. one for friendlys and the other for IVP, and also another design for a team shirt. the design for 'friendly' jersey and team shirt sld be done when we're more or less clear of who's in touch rug for good.
- cld you do the flyers too for the recruitment of members. it sld be done before the CCA fiesta. all that needs to be there will be our training days, time, venue. also include in that prior experience to touch rug is not required and if they have any enquires, they can contact maybe yas, i or oats? put one persons's email add down will do. the thing is to make the flyer as simple as possible. it sld fit 1/4 of an A4 size paper.

- like you said, youre in charge of PT. please think of what everyone will be doing on that day and what you want to achieve out of the session. maybe we can rotate using the machines because i dont want everyone of us waiting to use the same facility. we can split into groups.
- you'll also be printing the flyers for us, so get the softcopy of the flyer from qi before the CCA fiesta. estimate how many copies we need and get the money from the treasurer.

lets set our training time from 5 - 7, is that fine with everyone? venue will be determined again but it will most probably be at the admin field. i want PT to be on tue and EVERYONE, i need you guys to come down, please. i want us to set a good example for the newbies, in other words, i expect more urgency and discipline from everyone.
i know not everyone reads this blog so im going to tell everyone what i expect this year, when i have better attendance for training. lets win more games and revel in team spirit. understand that everyone in the team has a part to play if we want to win more games.
