aye! haha, since cc did a thankyou post, i thought i'd do the same.
THANX ALOT, everyone!! i'm quite overwhelmed by everything, from the bombing to the cake and all. really really appreciate everyone of you for making my 18th so special. from the effort to distract me (sry i made ur job difficult aloy), to the lovely water bombing, and even to russell giving me the first bite of that wonderfully delicious cake. haha! kinda lost for words. well, i hope 'thank you (lots and lots x100)' will surfice for now. i feel the love ya'll, i feel the loveeee.
Starburst, you make me wet. (literally) HAHA.
lastly, thanks cc, and welfare, and anyone else who helped plan the thing.

heyya!! this is a reminder for all ya sexy folks. we're playing rp... again... on tuesday. haha. so, as usual, those playing, pls come down ok. at 6pm! yay! must boot up by then so we can boogie earlier. yupp. looking forward to seeing you ALL there (on time). haha.

i assume most of you girls already have the jacket. so this probably applies to guys only. anyway some of you (overly excited guys - 'kenneth') are begining to hound me for ur jackets. so, here's the deal. ONLY players REGISTERED for ntl can receive jackets. i'm sorry, but thats how it works. so even if u've played for us 90% of the games, i cant get u a jacket. i'm sorry.
school rule: ya can only get a jacket once every 3 years. in other words, as long as u've gotten a jacket in ur poly life, you cant get anymore. its a 'once in a poly life' deal. haha. however... you can trade in a torn jacket if u have one.. then again, you'll only have one anyway. so yupp. take note. Hi Starburst, for those who came down on Thursday, you'll know that dear Yasmin has already stepped down as Captain and passed on her position. Following that, there were also a few changes in the committee members as well. For the previous committee members, I just want to say that you guys have done a great job. HI STARBURST,
IT'S THE HALLOWEEN MONTH. WHO'S INTERESTED IN HAVING A HALLOWEEN TRAINING?! actually we're just thinking of getting masks and some other cool stuff. We'll just use the club fund but it is currently not enough to support this idea. So if everyone's agreeable on having this halloween training, then tag on the board and we'll collect $3 from everyone!
oh! and training starts at 6.30 tmr. please be BOOTED UP BY THEN, so we can have our warm up game :) cya tmr!!
we're seriously gonna be the coolest club in np with that halloween training. ok my bad, we're already the coolest club. hahahaha!

SUPER COACH
Yesterday started out bright and sunny, and we thought that marks for a good day. But alas! We were wrong. At 1700, the sky looked threatening, with dark clouds looming above our heads and in an hour time, it started to rain heavier and heavier. Even though some of us attempted to speak to god, our mission failed. The siren in the sports complex just refused to cease.
At 1900, the rain stopped and the siren was turned off. By then everyone had already changed and booted up, thinking that we might just as well be damn lucky to be able to continue the games after all! However, our hopes were short-lived. Only 10 minutes into warm-up and the sky started to look like it's going to fall out of the sky. Lighting struck in the distance a couple of times, and for a couple of times, Kavina was spotted squatting down and looking above her in fear :D
Anyways, coming back, the games had to be cancelled unfortunately and just when we thought we'll just sit and rot or else go home, Coach suggested doing fitness for training. So, there we went, doing everything Coach said and by 2130 we were done with training.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Caleb and CC had to change Coach's birthday surprise at the 11th minute and in-between all the spare times they got, they started to rack their brains over Plan B, which should have been thought of earlier.
And as said, a plan was formed at the very last minute. A brilliant idea to use the (dark and wet and eerie) storeroom was suggested. As everyone made their way into the storeroom, it was a complete chaos. Everyone was talking and laughing, unsure of what the plan exactly is. Luckily, it was decided in the end that everyone wait outside the other side of the storeroom, where it is separated by a garage door(?).
Outside, the banner was held in position, sparklers were lit, the birthday card was held up high, everyone was in position. Meanwhile, Caleb and a few others bought Coach into the storeroom with only a sparkler lit as they plunge into complete darkness. As quoted from Caleb, "OH MY GOD, it's like walking through the Chamber Of Secrets. It was damn cool and Coach kept screaming and screaming."
Coach was asked to press the button that would make the garage door slide upwards, where the rest of Starburst stood waiting. And tada! As soon as she appeared, everyone started singing her a birthday song, the second time of the day. A letter was read by CC, and Coach was so touched! By the time Coach's Boston Chocolate cake as selected by CC! was brought out by Oats and Ameer, a third birthday song was sang!
Unfortunately, no pictures were taken but it's okay! Everyone had fun. Coach went bonkers and started smearing cake on every one's face. Sigh, that. is. so. typical. of. coach. <3 Even though Coach seemed to have already suspected that we have something up our sleeves, she probably would not have thought that something more elaborate is planned for her this year round. Hope you enjoy all the attention, Coach! We love you :)) PS, Thanks to those who helped with the gifts, and thanks to everyone who made the surprise possible! ► Fixtures
As the fixtures stated, RP will reach NP by 6. So, let's meet at the sports complex at 530 for warm-up first. But im not sure which one to follow. Anyways,
Tournament Rules:
1. There will be no changes in players/teams unless there is a very, very good reason and all captains/coaches agree to the change.
2. Refereeing: Each team to provide 1 ref as per the schedule. You can also have 2 refs from one team, each ref taking one half, or both doing one full game, up to you. Refs will need to be prepared in time otherwise your team will be docked playing time.
Teams without referees can bribe or otherwise try to persuade the coaches to ref for you.
3. Games start promptly every 30 minutes. If teams can get onto the pitch promptly, you'll get to play your full game time. If not, then you'll lose playing time.
4. There will be a one-minute half time break. If both teams agree on extending or not using the half time break, it is your call, let the ref know.
5. FIT rules will apply.

Hi people, RP is organising a fun touch tournament on the 10th nov '07 at RP sports complex. The format is a 3 vs 2 kind, form your own team of 5, registration fee is $75/team. There are categories like Girls Under 20, Boys Under 20, Women's Open and Men's Open. Registration ends by 28th Oct '07. There are attrative prices and goodie bags too. It's worth a try!
Fyi, RP league starts on Tuesday so we'll meet at 6pm at NP sports complex. Fixtures will be up as soon as Captain or I receives it.

Hello, as our Captain Caleb has said, we're invited to join the league with RP. The only change is that, we're most probably going to have all the games at NP instead of RP (yay). So we'll just meet at the Sports Complex Field, this Thursday at 630pm, cause the game will commerce around 7pm. Please come punctually, it will be appreciated. Thank you.
Also, from next week onwards, there will be games on both Tuesday and Thursday. Again, the fixtures will be up once Caleb or myself receives it.
