Sunday, May 25, 2008 ► M1 Part 2 match report.

A summary for those who are interested to know what happened on Saturday.

The girls' first game came face to face with Hwa Chong JC who won us in the previous M1. This time, all thanks to Eudora's (aka superstar aka side-step shen!!) side-step that landed us 2 nil, in our favour. Puisan, also the bullet train in the team, did a very nice scoop but a pity someone claimed to touch her boots (?!?!), ball was turned over to Hwa Chong. One clap for effort though!

The second game against SAJC was an equally good one. The weather played a part in the rough touches and vulgarities but again, all thanks to our Eudora/superstar who sacrificed her right knee that landed us the first try against them. The subsequent try happened because some SA girl likes to do fly defence, and with a little bit of luck and a vision of gap, mo mo ren managed to score a try with Puisan's pop pass. The game ended 2 nil, in our favour again.

With these results, it landed us face to face in the semi-finals with SP. 7 minutes into the game, the girls were tired, and that was when SP's captain managed to run past our defenders. If only the 5m were more like a 5m, chances of winning would be higher. Anyhow, the game ended with 1 nil, against our favour. Nonetheless, I think we did a great job against SP. So, how bout a round of applause for everyone's effort in the team.

Lastly, a thank you for those who came down and support the girls. Caleb, our captain who don't know for what reason became the team manager, Yue Hao who also don't know for what reason became our self-acclaimed proud assistant coach, and Ronald who came late. Of course, not forgetting the junior guys and girls who surprisingly came down.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH.

End of report.

now begins the photo report.
