hello, i found a post that coach posted for the year 3 seniors when we were freshies just like y'all.
Hello ladies,
What you can be doing on your own
1) Fitness
2) For passing, PRACTISE and PRACTISE. practise passing BEFORE training / AFTER training
3) For better hands , try throwing and catching tennis balls at home. ( just throw agst the wall and catch)
4) You can buy/borrow a rugby ball and carry it wherever you go. You should get used to holding the ball, its feel, its smell. Develop a relationship with the ball ! That way, you'll feel very comfortable with it.
At this stage, your basics your foundation should be solid. Basics such as passing, catching, crashing up, communication.
Do focus and give your 100% during trainings. =)
Love, coachie
sigh, one day y'all will find yourself in our shoes, about to graduate and feeling very sentimental about your own history in touch. so, dont take trainings for granted, remember how you spent your time in training.
tmr's training, 830am at sports complex. track shoes and boots to be brought along. dont be late.
okay, take care, be safe, hope this post helps.
