hi guys! firstly for the fresshies! hope u guys do see this. our first training for u guys start tmr (tuesday)! strongly encourage u guys to come early at 5.30 to watch the warm up game so u get a rough image of how the game is played (dont worry, u'll get ur chance, and its gonna be fun). pls pass this message down to your friends (if they signed up too) if u do see. thanx!

SMU Touch Team will be organising a beach touch tournament smu TOUCHDOWN! on 27th April 2008, Sunday. It will be held at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. This year, we have U20 Girls, Womens Open as well as Mixed Open categories. We will play a fun touch 3v2 format with 6 in a team. It costs $60 to register each team.
There will be attractive prizes for top teams and exciting goodies for everyone to bring home!Apart from playing touch, some of you might be interested in "sumo wrestling, laser tag, kayaking, bungee trampoline" just to name a few activities that will also be held at the beach that day.
Registration is confirmed upon payment. More details will be given when you have sent in the registration form regarding payment, reporting time, game rules and fixtures.

If you've stumbled onto the blog and is rather confused about the content here, don't fret! Basically, this is our avenue to channel feedback and also announce important information about training and upcoming tournaments. On behalf of the Touch Rugby committee and its current members, I welcome you into our Touch family! (: If you do not already know, our first official training will be on the 22April2008, 6pm at the Main Field (Sport Complex Field). Please do bring your boots (if you do have them) or running shoes, as well as a change of clothes if you prefer (It gets rather muddy nowadays because of the rain).
The seniors will be playing a warm-up game at around 5:30pm, so if you want to catch some action before actual training, do come down earlier to watch us. (This is also a note to all seniors to be down earlier on Tuesday.)

On thurs, the field is taken back by Sdar... they need it for testing a game (never elaborate, i also dunno anything). anyway.. i've passed word around and some of you have responded. for those who didnt, screw you!! (just kidding). anyway.. for thurs, there will be a combined meeting of polys and Sixpack (club), at RP field... so pls BE AT RP FIELD on thurs latest by 630. for girls, the jjc games are cancelled (again, sian).. so ya'll can come with the guys to play. note that the other teams are guy teams, but its just very very casual friendly games, and ya'll might welcome the work out. so yupp. just mayb notify me (caleb), asap so i know who we're expecting?! thank you all for ur time and dedication.

Just a few updates about CCA Fiesta.
- Mag has come up with the roster already and this will be posted up soon.
- CCA Fiesta will be held at the Convention Centre. Our booth is entrance turn right. (Booth 44)
- There will be a display board, a table and two chairs for our use. $50 funds given for decorative purposes. Receipts must be kept to claim cash. Printing of flyers and posters will be in this. (Birdie, Russ do take note.)
- Water is provided as light refreshment.
